Description
Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica dioxide, dicalcium phosphate, cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), proprietary terpene profile, palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), green tea polyphenols, vitamin D, vitamin B3, vitamin B9, vitamin B12, omega-3 fatty acids, curcumin.
Quantity per packet:
5 tablets, 5 day supply
Quantity per bottle:
30 tablets, 30 day supply
Directions:
For managing chronic pain or inflammation, take one (1) tablet every 4-6hrs for five days with a small amount of food (increases absorption). If issues persist, take two (2) tablets every 4-6hrs for five more days. Increase the number of times taken per day, every five days, until the desired effect is achieved. Once a systemic dose has been established, you can decrease the amount of tablets/times taken per day to a maintenance dose. For acute pain, take 1-2 tablets as needed, every 4-6hrs. CBD and CBDA interacts with each body differently, so there is a bit of guesswork as you establish your personalized dose for your specific pain and/or inflammatory issue. Additional Info:
Our most advanced tablet yet includes 100mg of cannabidiol (CBD), which is all-natural and may have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic properties. We then include 10mg of cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), which research shows interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) by potentially inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme. The COX-2 enzymes are linked to inflammation following injury or infection, which if inhibited, relieves inflammation and associated pain. Both aspirin and ibuprofen similarly inhibit COX-2 enzymes, however, unlike aspirin and ibuprofen, CBDA can be taken for both acute and chronic pain and inflammation. Prolonged use of both aspirin and ibuprofen can lead to gastrointestinal bleeding, heart attacks, and even strokes.
CBDA is the precursor to CBD, meaning when CBDA is exposed to heat (i.e. decarboxylated), it converts into CBD. Despite this relationship between CBDA and CBD, they are independent cannabinoids, each with their own therapeutic benefits, and are both found in hemp. Research indicates that CBD is more effective when multiple cannabinoids (such as CBDA), and terpenes are present, which is why we include our proprietary terpene profile in our Pain Relief tablets. Not only do terpenes enhance the effect of CBD and CBDA, but they also provide their own therapeutic benefits.
In addition to CBD, CBDA, and terpenes, our Pain Relief tablets include Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), which is a fatty acid amide, naturally produced by the body. Fascinatingly, PEA may interact with the endocannabinoid system similarly to CBD, particularly in relation to pain and inflammation. PEA was first discovered in 1957, however, it was not used as a potential anti-inflammatory or analgesic till the late 70’s. In 1975, a clinical trial in Czechoslovakia compared the analgesic properties of aspirin to that of PEA, and found both compounds enhanced joint movements and decreased pain.
If we only included the compounds previously listed, our Pain Relief tablet would be more effective than any other cannabinoid-based product on the market today, but we also include quercetin, curcumin, and green tea polyphenols – all of which may help with inflammatory issues, as well as omega-3s (antioxidant; protects cells from free radicals) and vitamin D (supports the immune system, brain, and nervous system).
Research indicates that inflammation in the body and anxiety can manifest through multiple ailments and symptoms. Although CBD is all-natural and potentially an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic, it is only one of the many plant-based, active ingredients that we include in our products (see full ingredients list for more information). We aren’t just creating CBD products. Instead, our staff toxicologist and pharmacologist is formulating the most effective, 100% plant-based, non-addictive products on the market today.
